An introduction to the concept of virtual production and RIT’s partnership with Epic Games, PRG, The Third Floor, and Optic Sky Productions with the initiative to create educational theoretical and practical curriculums for RIT students. Epic Games has made RIT a Megagrant recipient, granting RIT funds to further advance the understanding of virtual production and to familiarize students with these practices. RIT has committed to creating a series of educational videos that chronicle the classes and projects students and faculty put together in the Spring 2021 semester.
